Meet Neil St. Clair. A serial media entrepreneur, senior marketing and startup executive and creator of the “Intrigue Marketing” philosophy. This site houses some of Neil’s work and his views on media, marketing and entrepreneurship.

Neil St. Clair is currently leading the launch of a global media network focused on “investing with impact.” The network is part of a portfolio of companies majority owned by the venture arm of a substantial single family office.

Previously, Neil was the Chief Growth Officer for Vestorly, a venture-backed emerging brand and the leading SaaS marketing platform for the financial services industry. Vestorly uses A.I. and machine learning to stream personalized content to investor audiences and provides unique data on their behavior.

Neil is also the Founding Correspondent & CEO of the award-winning digital video news outlet AlleyWire. He also serves as President of AW|CS, AlleyWire’s creative content and marketing strategy agency. He was previously an on-air correspondent for NY1.

Neil served as the first-ever Director of Marketing for a leading private investment advisory firm. It was during his tenure here that he developed the theory of “Intrigue Marketing℠,” a human-centered approach to achieving rapid sales growth through invitations, not solicitations.

He is also currently a contributing columnist for Forbes on topics related to entrepreneurship and media. Neil is also the founder of the invitation-only Corsair Society in New York and Boston. The Corsair brings together interesting people doing interesting things to discuss ideas and innovation over an exquisite meal.

Neil is a frequent media interview subject, and has appeared on Bloomberg Radio, and in the Upstart Business Journal, the Boston Globe and RIABiz. He is also a sought-after guest speaker and lecturer, including presentations at MIT’s Sloan School, the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, Boston University’s College of Communication, the New York Press Club, the Deals & Dealmakers Summit and the Gramercy Institute for Financial Marketing.

Neil is deeply involved with several charitable organizations, including the Associate Board of BUILD-NY, which uses entrepreneurship to educate and empower under-resourced youth. He also founded the St. Clair Family Speech & Debate Award, which he presents each year to a qualified student at his former high school.

In 2016, Neil stood for election for State Committee as the exclusively-endorsed candidate of Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker.

In 2012, he was a fellow at Yale’s Entrepreneurial Institute (YEI), and attended Graduate School at Yale University, studying International Economics. He has two degrees from Boston University in political science and journalism, where he graduated magna cum laude, with Phi Beta Kappa and departmental distinctions. He also attended Oxford University’s St. Anne’s College during his time at BU.

Neil is a professional voice over artist with past clients including Madison Square Garden and Fox 4 News. In his spare time he’s an amateur squash player and marathoner (West Point Fallen Comrades Half 2017, Cape Cod Trail Race 2016, Hampton’s Marathon 2015, Tough Mudder 2013).
