Vestorly Inc., the leading content marketing and relationship analytics platform in the financial services industry, today announced the hire of Neil St. Clair as its VP, Growth, a newly-created position with responsibilities in marketing, business development, and driving strategic vision. St. Clair will report directly to Vestorly’s CEO, Justin Wisz. St. Clair will also develop Vestorly’s first-ever original content studio, Vestorly Bespoke, which the company plans to announce formally this year.
St. Clair joins Vestorly from Boston-based Shepherd Kaplan, one of the largest independent registered investment advisors (RIAs) with more than $8 billion in assets under management. At Shepherd Kaplan, St. Clair served as Director of Marketing, overseeing aspects of brand, business intelligence and content.
Vestorly’s co-founder and CEO, Justin Wisz, said, “Bringing on Neil reflects Vestorly’s requirement for an experienced professional with proficiency in content marketing technology, the complexities of the financial services industry, and the need for a modern intelligent solution. When we see A-level talent we pull out the stops to get it. Neil is Vestorly material, and will be pivotal as Vestorly leads innovation in financial services communications.”
“I’m excited to join the Vestorly team. Not just sharing in the vision of the founders, but in growing a business in the artificial intelligence space,” stated St. Clair. “It’s a rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a firm in such a high-growth industry with truly novel technology and strong potential.”
Vestorly’s revenue for the first two quarters of 2016 is already 216% of its total revenue in 2015, and projects a 600% increase in revenue by year’s end. Last month, Vestorly became integrated with Dow Jones for exclusive, licensed content including The Wall Street Journal, and will soon be announcing similar availability of more globally recognized financial publications.
Prior to working at Shepherd Kaplan, St. Clair founded several startups in the media and consumer tech spaces. He also worked in financial research and as a television journalist. He attended Boston University for his undergraduate work in journalism and political science, and did graduate work at Yale University in international relations and economics.
